Allergies and the Immune System

Keeping up the good bacteria in our pups is important for their immune systems.

Constant itching, tear stains, loose stools can all be signs of an out-of-whack immune system.

Unfortunately, most dry dog foods will not assist your endeavor to maintain a healthy immune system. A cheap and easy way to assist your pup is to put a dollop or two of plain yogurt in their food. Bruno and Beau LOVE this.

I have also heard other owners that swear by it.

Bruno has always had bowel issues. He would go weeks being regular and then a week or more of loose stools. At some point, he also developed tear stains under his eyes. He always looked bothered. Switching foods and bland diets never helped, or at most helped momentarily.

I decided to put Bruno (and Beau) on Zesty-Paws Aller-Immune Bites.

Since then, no tear stains, and knock on wood, bowel movements have been great.

It takes 3-4 weeks to notice changes, but it’s pretty clear that after about a month they will look and act differently.

Overall, Bruno and Beau just seem more comfortable.
